If you are starting from the Masjid al-Haram (the Grand Mosque), exit the mosque and head towards the King Abdul Aziz Gate. Once you are outside, turn left and walk along the main road (King Abdul Aziz Road) towards the Al Mashair area. Continue walking straight for around 1.5 kilometers, keeping the mountains on your left. You will see signs for Al Mashair and the Haram Boundary Markings.
