Walking
If you are starting from the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), exit the mosque through the main entrance. As you step outside, you will find yourself on the main thoroughfare known as 'King Abdul Aziz Road.' Head towards the north along this road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 20 minutes on foot). You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for directional signs pointing towards Al Haram. Once you reach the junction with 'King Fahd Street,' turn right and the King Fahd Gate will be in front of you, just a short walk ahead.

From the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, if you happen to be near the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Road, head west towards the intersection with King Abdul Aziz Road. Turn left onto King Abdul Aziz Road and continue to walk straight. After about 700 meters, take a right onto King Fahd Street. You will see the King Fahd Gate shortly after on your left. This route is a bit shorter and takes approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

If you are near the Madinah Mall, exit the mall and head towards King Abdul Aziz Road. Turn left onto King Abdul Aziz Road and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes). When you reach the intersection with King Fahd Street, turn left. Continue walking for a few minutes, and you will find the King Fahd Gate on your right side.
