Walking
If you are starting from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque), head north on King Abdul Aziz Road. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Al-Hijaz Road. Turn left onto Al-Hijaz Road and walk for another 1 kilometer. Uhud Mountain will be visible on your right. The total walking time should be around 30-40 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, walk to the nearest bus stop located on King Abdul Aziz Road. Look for buses heading toward 'Uhud Mountain' or the direction of Al-Hijaz Road. Board the bus and make sure to inform the driver of your destination. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you get off, you will see Uhud Mountain a short walk away, approximately 500 meters ahead.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Careem or Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Uhud Mountain'. The driver will know the location. The journey from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the address with the driver to ensure you reach the correct spot.
