Car
If you are driving, start from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Head northwest on Route 65M. After approximately 650 km, you will reach Al Qassim. Continue on Route 65M, then take Route 40 towards Al Khobar. Follow the signs for Route 40 and drive for another 300 km. As you approach the coastal area, take the exit towards Khasab, Oman. After crossing the border, continue straight on the unnamed road for about 2 km until you reach Khor Najd. Ensure you have your passport and any necessary visas ready for border crossing.
Public Transportation
To use public transportation, start by taking a bus from Riyadh to Al Khobar. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 10 hours. Once you arrive in Al Khobar, you will need to take a taxi or a rideshare service to the border with Oman. After crossing the border, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Khor Najd, which is approximately 20 minutes away. Be mindful of the travel times and check the border crossing hours.
