Turn left onto the road towards Mahmouda. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the coordinates XFCV+JMP, which is the location of Karongue. Make sure to keep your GPS handy, as the roads can be less marked.

To reach Karongue via public transportation, first take a sept-place (shared taxi) from Ziguinchor to Oussouye. This ride typically costs around 2,000 CFA francs and takes about 30 minutes. From Oussouye, you can catch another sept-place heading towards Mahmouda. This leg of the trip will cost approximately 1,500 CFA francs and will take another 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Mahmouda, you may need to hire a local taxi to reach the exact location of Karongue, which should cost around 1,000 CFA francs.
