Car
From Dakar city center, head east on Avenue Leopold Sedar Senghor towards Rue de la Republique. Continue straight until you reach the N1 highway. Merge onto N1 towards Mbour. After approximately 22 km, take the exit toward Sangalkam. Follow the signs to Sangalkam. Once in Sangalkam, use the coordinates QQPQ+JRV in your GPS to guide you directly to The Tortoise Village.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
In Dakar, you can take a taxi to Sangalkam. Inform the driver that you want to go to The Tortoise Village (Le Village des Tortues). Ensure that you agree on a price before starting your journey. The taxi ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Sangalkam, use the coordinates QQPQ+JRV to navigate to The Tortoise Village.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Catch a bus from Dakar to Sangalkam. Look for buses heading towards Mbour or Tivaouane; they stop in Sangalkam. The fare is typically around 200-500 CFA. Once you arrive in Sangalkam, you will need to take a short taxi ride or walk to the exact location (QQPQ+JRV) of The Tortoise Village, which is about 1-2 km from the bus stop.
