Dakar and Gorée Island a full day visiting the capital

A+ experience. Meet with the tour guide at designated meet up location. A short distance walk to the ferry docks and we caught the 10am ferry to Goree Island. Once there, we explored the island and visited every area. My guide helped me bargain with a few vendors for better pricing. After lunch and a return to Dakar, we made a stop at Monument de la Renaissance Africaine for a visit

Virginie is very friendly and knows her subject well. That said, the tour itself is not very interesting.... and the noise in the small bus (charming) unfortunately does not allow one to hear all of Virginie's explanations

Tour of Dakar and Gorée Island
Great all encompassing tour
Our experience with this tour was fabulous. Booking was easy and the communication was great. Our guide Bass, helped to make the tour very special. He was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and genuinely wanted us to learn about the history of the area. Our driver was great and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you book this tour. Ask for Bass 😊
