Getting There

• Taxi

  From the city center, head to the nearest bus station (like Gare routière de Dakar). Look for bus number 35 that goes towards Hann. Once you board the bus, stay alert for announcements or ask the conductor to let you know when to get off. You will want to disembark at the stop closest to the zoo entrance, which is a short walk from the main road.

• Walking

  If you're staying nearby in the Hann Bel-Air neighborhood, walking is a great option. From the center of Hann, head towards Avenue de la République, then follow it until you reach the park entrance. The park is well-signposted, so keep an eye out for directions along the way.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle. There are several rental shops in downtown Dakar. Once you have your bike, head towards the coast and follow Boulevard de la République to Hann Bel-Air. The park will be on your left as you approach.
