    From the center of Kaolack, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop. Head west on Avenue Lamine Gueye towards Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Kaolack. Follow the signs for 'Collines de Niassam'. The route is mostly flat and will take you through scenic landscapes. Expect a journey of approximately 30-40 minutes.

    Make your way to the main bus station in Kaolack, located on Avenue Kasse. Look for a bus heading towards Nioro du Rip or any bus that indicates it passes near 'Collines de Niassam'. The ride should take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you can ask locals for directions to Saloum Delta, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop.

    If you prefer walking, you can start your journey from the center of Kaolack. Head towards Avenue Lamine Gueye and continue straight for approximately 6 kilometers. Follow the path towards the west, and you will eventually reach the entrance to Saloum Delta. This walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so ensure you have water and wear comfortable shoes.
