From Mbour, head to the central taxi station, which is located near the Mbour market. Look for a shared taxi (often referred to as 'sept-place') heading to Dakar. Once on board, inform the driver that you are going to the African Renaissance Monument. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. You will be dropped off near the monument, which is located in Ouakam, Dakar.

From Mbour, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take a bus heading to Dakar. Buses usually leave from the main bus terminal in Mbour. Once you arrive in Dakar, head to the Dakar bus station (Gare Routière). From there, you can either take a taxi or a local bus heading towards Ouakam. If taking a taxi, inform the driver you want to go to the African Renaissance Monument. The entire trip may take around 2-2.5 hours.
