From the center of Saint-Louis, head southeast on Avenue De La Libération towards Rue B. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de la République. Turn left onto Boulevard de la République and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will then reach the bridge connecting to the mainland. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Route de la Mer. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the main entrance to Dakar. Once there, ask locals for directions to the African Renaissance Monument, as it's a well-known landmark in the area.
