Walking
If you are in the center of Saint-Louis, start by heading towards the riverbank. Walk along Avenue de la République until you reach the bridge connecting the island city of Saint-Louis to the mainland. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the T-junction at the end of the road. Turn left onto Avenue Faidherbe. Keep walking straight until you reach the bus station on your right. From here, you can take a shared taxi or a 'sept-place' to Dakar. Once in Dakar, head towards the Gorée Island ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Gorée Island, and upon arrival, follow the signs to the IFAN Historical Museum, which is located near the center of the island.
