Walking
From the city center of Saint-Louis, head towards the bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Walk across the bridge, enjoying the views of the water. Once you reach the end of the bridge, continue straight until you reach the main road (Route de l'Aeroport). Turn left and keep walking until you reach the intersection with Avenue Faidherbe. Turn right onto Avenue Faidherbe. Continue walking straight for about 1 km, passing local shops and cafes. At the end of Avenue Faidherbe, you will find a sign directing you towards Plage BCEAO. Follow the path that leads to the beach area.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the city center and cycle towards the bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Route de l'Aeroport. Turn left and cycle along Route de l'Aeroport for approximately 1.5 km. Look for Avenue Faidherbe on your right. Turn onto Avenue Faidherbe and continue for about 1 km. At the end of the avenue, follow the signs to Plage BCEAO, which will lead you down a path to the beach.
Public Transport
To get to Plage BCEAO using public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in Saint-Louis. Board a bus heading towards Dakar or Yoff, which typically runs every 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Plage BCEAO, which is well-known among locals. Once you disembark, follow the signs that lead to the beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
