After approximately 30 kilometers, take a right turn onto a smaller road leading to Niodior. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the village of Niodior. Look for the coordinates V77H+2FV, which will lead you to Baobab Rasta.
Public Transportation - Taxi-Brousse
To reach Baobab Rasta using public transportation, find a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading towards Niodior. You can catch a taxi-brousse from major towns like Toubakouta or Kaolack. The fare is typically around 2,500 CFA (approximately $4 USD). The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Niodior, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to V77H+2FV. You may need to walk a short distance to reach your destination.
Bicycle Rental
For the more adventurous travelers, consider renting a bicycle in Toubakouta. Follow the same route as you would by car, biking along the N1 highway towards Niodior. This scenic route is approximately 30 kilometers long. Upon reaching Niodior, navigate to V77H+2FV. Be sure to carry plenty of water and snacks, as this journey may take several hours.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Niodior, you can walk to Baobab Rasta. From the village center, head towards the coordinates V77H+2FV. The walk is pleasant and will take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and bring along some water, especially on hot days.
