Bus
From the center of Thiès, head to the main bus station (Gare Routière de Thiès). Look for a bus heading towards Mbour or Somone. The fare is usually around 500-1000 CFA. The bus will take about 30-45 minutes to reach Somone. Once you arrive in Somone, ask the driver to let you off at Av. de la Lagune, which is the main road. From there, it's a short walk to the Somone Lagune Excursions office.

At the Thiès bus station, you can also catch a 'Taxi-Brousse' (shared taxi) heading to Mbour. This is a faster option and will cost you about 1000 CFA. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Somone. Once you get dropped off at Somone, walk towards Av. de la Lagune. Follow the road until you reach Somone Lagune Excursions, which will be clearly marked.
