From the center of Thiès, head towards the main bus station (Gare Routière de Thiès). Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading towards Dakar. Make sure to ask the driver if the bus goes to Ouakam, as you will need to get off near the African Renaissance Monument. The journey to Dakar takes about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. After reaching Dakar, disembark at the Ouakam area. From there, walk towards the Monument, which will be visible from a distance due to its height. It is located in the PGC4+V2M area of Dakar.
