If you are in the center of Thiès, start at Place de la République. From there, head east towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Avenue Malick Sy. Turn left onto Avenue Malick Sy and walk for another 200 meters. You will soon see the Monument du Millénaire on your right.

From Thiès, you can take a local bus (known as a 'car rapide') heading towards Dakar. Get off at the Dakar-Plateau stop. From there, walk down Avenue Malick Sy for about 500 meters.
