Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the vicinity of Knez Mihailova Street, simply walk down the pedestrian street towards the end. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Trg Republike (Republic Square) on your left. The square is a large open space and is easily recognizable by the National Museum and the statue of Prince Mihailo.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    You can take Tram Line 2 or 5 towards the direction of Trg Republike. Board the tram at any stop along the line, and disembark at the 'Trg Republike' stop. As you get off, you will see the square directly in front of you, where you can explore the area.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you are near a bus stop, you can take Bus Line 27 or 35. Make sure to check the route, and get off at the 'Trg Republike' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the large open area; you will see the square and the prominent National Museum.

  • Walking from Belgrade Waterfront

    Starting from the Belgrade Waterfront area, head towards the Sava River, and take the path leading to Branko's Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Knez Mihailova Street. Turn right on Knez Mihailova and walk straight until you reach Trg Republike on your left.

  • Walking from Kalemegdan Fortress

    From Kalemegdan Fortress, walk down towards the city center. Take the path leading to the park and follow the signs towards Knez Mihailova Street. Once you reach Knez Mihailova, turn left and continue walking straight until you see Trg Republike on your left.
