    If you are in the central area of Belgrade, start at the Republic Square (Trg Republike). From the square, head towards Knez Mihailova Street, which is a pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. Walk straight down Knez Mihailova Street until you reach the Kalemegdan Park entrance. Enter the park and continue walking towards the Kalemegdan Fortress. As you walk through the park, you will see the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Follow the signs towards the fortress. After exploring the fortress, exit towards the main gate of the fortress and continue walking down the path. The Royal Gate is located nearby, and you will be able to see it as you approach.

    From the Republic Square, take tram line 2 towards the Kalemegdan Park. Get off at the Kalemegdan stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Kalemegdan Fortress entrance. After exploring the fortress, exit through the main gate and walk along the path where the Royal Gate is located. It is a short walk from the fortress.
