Walking
If you are starting from the Belgrade Fortress, exit the fortress and head south towards the main street, Knez Mihailova. Once you reach Knez Mihailova, turn left and walk straight. Continue walking until you reach the end of the pedestrian zone. Republic Square will be directly ahead of you when you reach the end of Knez Mihailova, and you will see the National Museum and the statue of Prince Mihailo.
Public Transport (Tram)
If you are near the main railway station (Beograd Glavna), you can take tram line 2. Board the tram heading towards 'Dorćol' and get off at the 'Trg Republike' stop. Once you disembark, you will be right at Republic Square, where you can explore the surrounding area.
Walking
From the Skadarlija district, walk down Skadarska Street towards the main road. When you reach the main road, turn left and continue straight until you reach Trg Republike. You will see the square ahead with its notable landmarks.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near the Nikola Tesla Museum, take bus line 31 towards 'Banjica 2' and get off at the 'Trg Republike' stop. This will place you right at Republic Square, where you can visit the National Museum and enjoy the square.
