Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Đerdap National Park, located near the town of Kladovo. From Kladovo, take the road toward the village of Ševica. Follow the signs for Ševica, and once you reach the village, continue on the local roads until you see signs for Vodopad Burev. The waterfall is located approximately 15 km from the entrance of the park. Make sure to park in designated areas as the roads may be narrow.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kladovo to Ševica. Buses run several times a day and the fare should be around 200 RSD (Serbian dinars). Upon arriving in Ševica, you can either hike towards Vodopad Burev, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop, or arrange for a local taxi to take you directly to the waterfall. Be sure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand.

Hiking

If you enjoy hiking, consider taking a scenic route from the entrance of Đerdap National Park to Vodopad Burev. There are marked trails that lead through beautiful landscapes. The hike is approximately 5 km and may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear suitable hiking footwear and bring water, as there are limited facilities along the way.
