Walking
Start from the center of Novi Sad at Trg Slobode (Liberty Square). From the square, head southeast along Bulevar Oslobođenja towards the Danube River. When you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the promenade. You will enjoy a beautiful view of the river and the Petrovaradin Fortress on the opposite bank. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the Petrovaradin Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs leading to the fortress. After crossing the bridge, you will see a road that leads to the entrance of the fortress. Ascend the hill via the path or stairs that lead to the fortress walls viewpoint. Upon reaching the top, you will be rewarded with stunning views of Novi Sad and the Danube River.

From the center of Novi Sad, head to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 3 or 7 towards Petrovaradin. The bus will take you directly to the Petrovaradin area. Get off at the 'Petrovaradin' stop. From there, follow the signs that guide you towards the fortress. You will need to walk uphill to reach the fortress walls viewpoint. Follow the designated paths or stairs leading to the viewpoint. Enjoy the panoramic views once you arrive.
