Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the city center of Novi Sad, head towards the Danube River. From the main pedestrian street, Zmaj Jovina, walk to the end of the street until you reach the Danube Quay (Keja). Once at the quay, turn left and follow the riverbank. After a short walk, you will see the Petrovaradinska tvrđava across the river. To reach the fortress, you will need to cross the Varadin Bridge (Most Varadin), which provides a scenic view of the river and the city. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs towards the fortress, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bridge.

From the city center, you can take tram line 2 towards the Petrovaradin suburb. Get off at the last stop, which is near the entrance to Petrovaradinska tvrđava.
