The journey is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 5 minutes. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the forest area, which will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for accessing Šuma Palic.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus stop in Palić, which is typically located near the lakefront. Look for buses heading towards Subotica or nearby villages. Get off at the stop for Šuma Palic, which is usually announced. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes, and a single ticket costs approximately 100 dinars. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of the forest.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route from the lakefront area. Start at the Palić Lake promenade and walk southeast along the lake edge until you reach the entrance of Šuma Palic. This walk is about 2 kilometers and will take you approximately 25-30 minutes, providing beautiful views of the lake and surrounding nature.
