Car
To drive from Raška to Belgrade Zoo, start by heading southwest on the main road, Route 23. Follow this road for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Belgrade. You will then merge onto the E75 highway towards the city center. Once you approach central Belgrade, follow signs for Stari Grad and Mali Kalemegdan. The zoo is located at Mali Kalemegdan 8, Belgrade 11000. Parking may be available nearby, but check for local parking regulations to avoid fines.
Public Transportation
To reach Belgrade Zoo using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Raška to the city of Kraljevo. From Kraljevo, transfer to a train heading to Belgrade. The train station in Belgrade is called 'Beograd Glavna' (Belgrade Main Station). From there, you can take public transport such as tram number 2, which will take you directly to the Stari Grad area. Get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop, and the zoo is a short walk from there. Be sure to check the train and bus schedules ahead of time to plan your trip efficiently. A train ticket typically costs around 300 RSD (Serbian dinars).
