Walking
If you are starting from the Smederevo Fortress, exit the fortress and head south towards the main road, which is Kralja Petra I street. Turn left onto Kralja Petra I street and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass the local shops and cafes on your way. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Trg republike street. After a short walk of about 200 meters, you will see Trg republike on your right. It is a large open square, perfect for relaxation and people-watching.

If you are near the City Park (Gradski Park), exit the park towards the main road. Turn right onto Kralja Petra I street. Walk straight for approximately 300 meters until you reach a small intersection. At this intersection, turn left onto Trg republike street. Continue for another 150 meters, and Trg republike will be on your left side. Look for the central fountain and the surrounding cafes.
