If you are currently in Smederevo, start by heading towards the Smederevo Bus Station located at Trg Republike, 11300 Smederevo. From there, take a bus to Belgrade. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Belgrade Bus Station, exit and look for the tram stop. Take tram line 2 towards 'Karaburma'. Alight at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. From there, walk towards the Kalemegdan Fortress. Karađorđe's Gate is located nearby, within the fortress area.

From Smederevo, catch a bus to Belgrade at the Smederevo Bus Station. Once you reach the Belgrade Bus Station, take tram line 7 towards 'Banjica 2'. Get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. After exiting the tram, walk towards the Kalemegdan Fortress. Karađorđe's Gate is easily accessible from there, just a short walk within the fortress.
