Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Pirot. From Pirot, take the route towards the town of Dimitrovgrad. After approximately 15 km, follow signs towards Suva Planina. Continue on the local roads until you reach the designated parking area near the base of Suva Planina. Be prepared for a rough road and check your vehicle's condition before heading into the mountainous area.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, first take a bus from Niš to Pirot. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arriving in Pirot, you can catch a local bus or taxi towards Suva Planina, which will take you to the base of the mountain. Check local schedules for timings as services may vary. Expect to pay around 200 RSD for the bus ride from Pirot to the base.

Hiking
