Car

If you are driving from the town of Pirot, take the E5 road heading east towards Dimitrovgrad. After approximately 30 kilometers, follow the signs for Stara Planina National Park and turn onto the local road leading to Dobri Do. The park entrance will be clearly marked. Expect to pay a small entrance fee at the gate.
Public Transportation

From Pirot, take a bus to Dimitrovgrad. The bus station is located in the center of town. Buses run regularly, and tickets can be purchased at the station. Once in Dimitrovgrad, look for a local bus or taxi that can take you to the entrance of Stara Planina National Park in Dobri Do. Make sure to confirm the final stop with the driver, as not all buses may go directly to the park. The total cost for the bus trip should be around 300 RSD (Serbian dinars).
Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Pirot to Stara Planina National Park. This option is more expensive, typically costing around 3000-4000 RSD one way. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the park entrance in Dobri Do.
Hiking

For those already in the vicinity of Stara Planina Mountain, you can access the park through various hiking trails. Depending on your location, follow any marked paths towards Dobri Do. Ensure you have a map or GPS, as some trails can be less well-marked. Bring sufficient water and snacks for your hike.
