Getting There

Car

From the center of Toplica, head east on the main road towards the town of Pirot. Continue on the E5 highway for approximately 45 kilometers. As you approach the town of Pirot, follow the signs for 'Stara Planina'. Turn right onto the road leading towards Dobri Do, where the entrance to Stara Planina National Park is located. Keep driving for about 15 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. Parking is available near the entrance, which may incur a small fee, typically around 200 RSD.
Public Transportation

From Toplica, take a bus to Pirot. Buses run frequently from the main bus station in Toplica to the Pirot bus station. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 300 RSD. Once you arrive in Pirot, you can take a local taxi to Dobri Do, which is around 15 kilometers away. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around 1000-1500 RSD for the trip to Stara Planina National Park.
Combination of Car and Hiking

If you prefer a more adventurous route, drive from Toplica to the nearby village of Babin Zub, which is about 30 kilometers north. From Babin Zub, you can begin a hiking trail that leads directly into Stara Planina National Park. Ensure you have appropriate hiking gear, and check local maps for trail details.
