Start from the Anse Royale bus stop, located at the main road. Head northwest along the road towards the Anse Royale beach. Once you reach the beach, walk along the shoreline to your left until you reach the end of the beach. There, you will find a trail marked with signs indicating the way to Anse Major. Follow the trail, which will take you uphill, offering beautiful views along the way. Continue on the trail until you reach a fork; take the path that leads to the left, which will lead you to View point Anse Major. The viewpoint is marked, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area.
Walking
If you are staying at any hotel in Anse Royale, ask for directions to the Anse Royale beach. From the beach, walk towards the southern end where the trail begins. Look for trail markers or signs that say 'Anse Major'. Follow the trail as it winds through the lush vegetation. It may take about 30-45 minutes to reach the viewpoint, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The viewpoint will be evident as you approach it, providing a perfect photo opportunity.
