Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the main beach area in Baie Lazare, head towards the main road (Route de la Baie Lazare). Once you reach the road, turn left and walk along the sidewalk. Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach a sign for Anse Louis Beach. Continue straight until you see the signpost for 'Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool'. Follow the path indicated by the sign, which will lead you through a short forested area. After about 5 minutes, you will arrive at the beautiful Rock Pool.

    If you are starting from the Baie Lazare Hotel area, exit the hotel and follow the path towards the beach. Walk along the beach promenade until you reach the end of the beach. From there, take the trail that leads towards the nearby cliffs. Follow the trail for about 20 minutes, enjoying the scenic views, until you come to a clearing. Look for the markers or signs pointing to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool and proceed down the path to your left to reach your destination.

    From the local market in Baie Lazare, head towards the beach entrance. Once at the beach, go left along the shore. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a rocky outcrop. Continue walking past this point and look for a narrow path that leads inland. Follow this path for approximately 15 minutes, keeping an eye out for signs to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool. The path will eventually lead you to the Rock Pool area.
