Getting There

  • Walking

    From Beau Vallon Beach, head southeast along the coastline towards the main road. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the main road, known as the Coastal Road. Turn left and follow the road as it curves slightly. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with Independence Avenue. Turn right onto Independence Avenue. The National Museum of History will be on your left-hand side, just before the junction with the next street.

  • Public Bus

    From any location in Beau Vallon, find the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Victoria. Board the bus and pay the fare. Stay on the bus for about 20-25 minutes, passing through the scenic areas of Seychelles. The bus will pass along the Coastal Road and then turn onto Independence Avenue. Disembark at the stop closest to the National Museum of History, which will be on your left. Once you get off, the museum entrance is just a short walk away.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Beau Vallon. Start your journey by heading southeast along the beach path towards the Coastal Road. Once you reach the Coastal Road, turn left and cycle along the road for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach Independence Avenue, turn right, and you will find the National Museum of History on your left after a short ride.
