Starting from the center of Bird Island, head south on the main road towards the Bird Island Airport. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. At the fork, take the right turn to merge onto the road leading to the jetty. Park your car at the designated parking area near the ferry terminal. From there, you'll need to take a ferry to Mahé Island. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Mahé, follow the signs to Victoria and continue driving towards Independence Avenue.

Public Transportation
From Bird Island, take a local ferry service to Mahé Island. The ferry departs regularly, but be sure to check the schedule in advance as it may vary. Upon arriving at the Mahé ferry terminal, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach Victoria. If you're taking a bus, board one heading towards Victoria town, which should take around 30 minutes. Once in Victoria, walk towards Independence Avenue, where the National Museum of History is located. The museum is easily recognizable and should be within a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Drive to the Bird Island Airport and take your car to the airport parking. From there, catch the ferry to Mahé Island.
