Walking
From Grand Anse, head towards the main road (Anse Grand road). Walk along the road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Anse Intendance. Continue on this road and follow the signs towards Beau Vallon. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach Beau Vallon. From here, look for signs directing you to Dans Gallas Trail, which is located at Chem. Le Niol. The trailhead is accessible from the main road. Make sure to carry water and wear good walking shoes.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Grand Anse, walk to the nearest bus stop along the main road. Take a bus heading towards Beau Vallon. The bus journey will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Beau Vallon, get off at the nearest stop and walk towards Chem. Le Niol. Follow the signs for Dans Gallas Trail, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Ensure you check the bus schedule for the return trip.
Bicycle Rental
If you're up for a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Grand Anse. Start by cycling towards Beau Vallon via the coastal road. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you reach Beau Vallon, follow the signs to Chem. Le Niol where the Dans Gallas Trail begins. Cycling offers a scenic view along the coastline and is a great way to explore the area.
