Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
Start at the Grand Anse beach area, which is a popular spot for tourists. From the beach, head north along the coastline for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass several small shops and local eateries. Continue to follow the beach trail until you reach a rocky outcrop. Climb over the rocks carefully, as the path may be uneven. Once you navigate past the rocks, you will see a sign indicating the way to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool. Follow the trail leading up into the lush greenery for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Rock Pool area.
Walking
Alternatively, if you are in the Grand Anse village area, start from the Grand Anse market. Take the main road heading east towards Quatre Bornes. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads into a more wooded area. Continue walking for another 10 minutes, and you should start to see signs directing you to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool. Follow these signs until you arrive at the destination.
Walking
If you're near the local guesthouses in Grand Anse, ask for directions to the nearest beach access point. Walk towards the beach, then head north along the shoreline. This route is slightly longer but very scenic. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and beautiful views. After approximately 30 minutes, you should see the rocky formations that lead to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool. Once you arrive at the rocks, carefully climb over them, and you will find the entrance to the pool.
