If you are traveling by car, head towards the main road leading out of N.Y.S. Village. Follow the signs for Morne National Park. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the entrance of Morne National Park, you will need to pay an entrance fee of around 100 Seychellois Rupees (SCR) per person. After entering the park, continue driving until you reach the designated parking area at the trailhead for Morne Blanc View Point.
Public Transport
For those using public transport, start by taking a local bus from N.Y.S. Village heading towards Morne National Park. Buses run regularly, and the fare is approximately 15 SCR. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the entrance of Morne National Park. Once you arrive, you will need to pay the entrance fee of about 100 SCR. From there, you will have to hike from the entrance to the Morne Blanc View Point, which typically takes around 2 hours. Ensure to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry enough water.
Hiking
After parking your car or getting off the bus at the entrance of Morne National Park, follow the clearly marked trail leading to Morne Blanc View Point. The trail is steep and can be challenging, so it's important to pace yourself. Look out for signposts along the way to help guide you.
