Car
If you're driving from any location in Île Longue, head southwest towards the main road leading to N.Y.S. Village. Follow the signs for 'Rivière L'Isletta'. Once you reach the vicinity of 8CR7+JVF, park your car in a designated parking area. From there, you will have to walk for about 15-20 minutes through a short trail to reach Sauzier Waterfall. Please note that there is a fee of 25 SCR to enter the waterfall area.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, look for a local bus that connects Île Longue to N.Y.S. Village. Buses typically run every hour. Once you arrive at the N.Y.S. Village bus stop, disembark and follow the signs towards 'Rivière L'Isletta'. The waterfall is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop along the marked trail. Remember to carry some cash, as there is a 25 SCR entrance fee at the waterfall.
Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can start from the nearest accommodation or landmark in Île Longue and make your way to the waterfall on foot. Follow local trails that lead towards N.Y.S. Village. The hike may take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your starting point. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Don't forget that there is a 25 SCR entry fee to access the waterfall.
