Getting There

Bicycle
From the center of La Digue, head towards the Anse Source d'Argent beach. You can rent a bicycle at one of the many rental shops in the village. Once you have your bicycle, follow the main road (La Digue's only road) southward. Continue cycling past the entrance to the L'Union Estate until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path towards the coast, and continue until you reach Glacis Beach, which will be on your right.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of La Digue and make your way towards the Anse Source d'Argent beach. Head down the main road (the only road) southward for approximately 1.5 kilometers. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path leading towards the coast. Continue walking for another 10 minutes, and you will find Glacis Beach on your right, just off the path.

Taxi Bicycle
If you would like to avoid cycling or walking, you can hire a taxi bicycle. These are local cyclists who will take you to your destination. You can find them near the ferry terminal or in the center of La Digue. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Glacis Beach, and they will navigate you through the village, following the main road southward.
