If you're driving, head towards Victoria, the capital of Mahé Island. From Victoria, take the main road towards the East Coast (Mahé's main artery, Route A). After about 2 km, turn left onto the road leading into Pier Ward. Look out for the Liberty Monument on your right; it is situated near the central area of Pier Ward, at coordinates 9FG3+4WC.
Public Transportation
To reach Liberty Monument using public transportation, catch a bus from various locations around Mahé Island, specifically routes that head towards Victoria. Once in Victoria, disembark at the bus terminal. From there, take a short walk towards Pier Ward. The Liberty Monument is located approximately 1 km from the bus terminal; follow the signs or ask locals for directions. Buses are relatively inexpensive, costing around 5 SCR (Seychellois Rupee) for a one-way trip.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Pier Ward, walking to the Liberty Monument is a pleasant option. Starting from the center of Pier Ward, head towards the coordinates 9FG3+4WC, where the monument is located. It should take you about 10-15 minutes on foot from any central point in the area.
