Car

If you are driving, start from Victoria, the capital of Mahé Island. Head northwest on the main road (Victoria-Glacis Road). After approximately 15 km, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto the Cap Ternay Road (signs will indicate direction to Port Launay). Continue on Cap Ternay Road for about 4 km until you reach Port Launay Beach. There is ample parking available near the beach, but be aware that some areas may require a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation

To reach Port Launay Beach using public transport, take bus number 21 from Victoria Bus Station heading towards Glacis. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Request the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Cap Ternay Road. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 km along Cap Ternay Road to reach the beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends and public holidays.

Taxi

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Mahé Island to Port Launay Beach. Taxis are readily available in major areas such as Victoria. The fare can vary depending on your starting point, but expect to pay around 500-800 SCR (Seychellois Rupee) for a ride from Victoria to Port Launay. Always agree on a fare before starting your journey to avoid any misunderstandings.
