Walking
If you are in the main area of Praslin, start by heading towards Anse Volbert Beach, which is a popular location. From the beach, walk along the main road (Route de la Réserve) heading towards the direction of the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve. Continue walking for about 20-30 minutes until you see the signs directing you to the Giant Tortoise Enclosure, which is located adjacent to the nature reserve. The enclosure is well marked and will have clear signage as you approach.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Praslin. Begin your journey from the center of Baie Ste Anne and cycle towards Anse Volbert. Follow the road along the coast until you reach the intersection with Route de la Réserve. Turn left onto Route de la Réserve and continue cycling for approximately 15-20 minutes. Look for the signs that indicate the Giant Tortoise Enclosure on your right side as you approach the Vallée de Mai.

Public Transport (Bus)
Find the nearest bus stop in Praslin, often located near hotels or central areas like Baie Ste Anne. Take a bus heading towards Anse Volbert or Vallée de Mai. Inform the bus driver that you are going to the Giant Tortoise Enclosure, and they can help guide you. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the Vallée de Mai, and you will see the Giant Tortoise Enclosure a short walk away from the bus stop.
