Car
If you are traveling by car, start from your accommodation in St. Anne Island. Navigate to the main road and follow signs toward the St. Anne Marine National Park. Continue on the main road until you reach the turn-off for Copolia Peak, which is approximately 1.5 km from the center of the island. Park your car in the designated parking area. From there, you will need to walk the remaining distance, as the peak is not accessible by vehicle.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus or a taxi from any location on St. Anne Island toward the St. Anne Marine National Park. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to visit Copolia Peak. The fare for a local bus is typically around 5-10 SCR (Seychellois Rupee). Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you will have to walk about 1 km to reach the start of the hiking trail that leads up to Copolia Peak.
Hiking
After reaching the parking area or bus stop near Copolia Peak, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 km to the peak. The trail is well-marked, but be prepared for a steep ascent. It is essential to wear sturdy shoes and carry water. The hike takes about 30-60 minutes depending on your fitness level. Remember to bring your camera, as the views from the top are breathtaking!
