Start from the center of Freetown, near the Cotton Tree on George Street. From there, head east towards Rawdon Street and continue until you reach the junction with Jomo Kenyatta Road. Turn left onto Jomo Kenyatta Road and proceed straight until you reach the intersection with the Lumley Beach Road. Take a right onto Lumley Beach Road. Continue along this road, following signs to the beaches. After passing through Lumley, keep going until you reach Willikies. Long Bay Beach is located at the address 38X6+J7R in Willikies, right along the coast.

If you prefer cycling, start in the central area of Freetown, heading east along Rawdon Street. Then, join Jomo Kenyatta Road and cycle south towards Lumley Beach Road. Follow the road signs to Willikies. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and may take around 30-40 minutes. Ensure to ride carefully as some sections may be busy with traffic.
