Walking
If you are staying in central Freetown, start by heading towards the main road, Wilberforce Street. Walk south until you reach the junction with Lumley Beach Road. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Regent Road. Turn left onto Regent Road and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Regent as you get closer. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for Mountain and Entertainment Relaxation Garden (MERG) on your right. Follow the path leading to the entrance.

Public Transport
From central Freetown, make your way to the nearest bus station, such as the one near the Cotton Tree. Look for a 'poda poda' (minibus) that is heading towards Regent. Once you board, tell the driver you are going to Mountain and Entertainment Relaxation Garden (MERG). The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the entrance to MERG. Look for signs indicating the direction to the park once you get off. After getting off, walk a short distance down the road to reach the entrance.
