Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the ferry terminal at Lungi. Take the ferry to Freetown, which typically costs around 30,000 to 50,000 Leones (about $3 to $5 USD) depending on the ferry service. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal in Freetown, exit the terminal and take a left onto Krootown Road. Drive for about 3 kilometers, and then turn right onto Tower Hill Road. St. John's Maroon Church is located at FQP7+889 on your left-hand side. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance to avoid long waits.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a taxi or a motorbike (okada) from your location in Lungi Beach to the ferry terminal. Taxis usually charge around 10,000 Leones (about $1 USD). Once at the ferry terminal, pay for your ferry ticket to Freetown (30,000 to 50,000 Leones). After the ferry ride, disembark at the Freetown terminal and look for a shared taxi (commonly referred to as a 'poda poda') heading toward Tower Hill. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Tower Hill area near St. John's Maroon Church. The fare for the shared taxi should be around 5,000 to 10,000 Leones (about $0.50 to $1 USD). Once you reach Tower Hill, walk about 5 minutes down the road, and you will see St. John's Maroon Church on your left.
