Follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the river's edge. There are no entry fees to access the river, but be mindful of the local traffic regulations.

    To reach the Sierra Leone River using public transportation, look for a shared taxi (commonly known as 'poda poda') that is heading towards the peninsula or the river area. These can be found along the main road in Lungi Beach. Make sure to ask the driver if they go to the Sierra Leone River, as some might not. The fare is approximately 5,000 Leones. After getting off at the designated stop, you may need to walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach the river, following the signs or asking locals for directions.
