Car
If you are driving from Port Loko, head south on the A1 highway towards Freetown. The distance is approximately 90 kilometers and will take around 2 hours, depending on traffic. As you approach Freetown, follow signs towards the city center. Once in Freetown, look for signs directing you to the 'Unnamed Road' near the latitude 8.4615455 and longitude -13.252609. Climb Salone will be a rock climbing gym located on this road.
Public Transport - Bus
To reach Climb Salone via public transportation, take a bus from Port Loko to Freetown. Buses are available at the main bus station in Port Loko and usually cost around 10,000 Leones. The journey can take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Freetown, you will need to take a taxi or motorcycle taxi (commonly known as 'okada') to Climb Salone. Expect to pay around 20,000 Leones for the taxi ride. Provide the driver with the address 'FP6W+JX6, Unnamed Road' or show them the location on your phone.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi directly from Port Loko to Climb Salone. This option will be more expensive, costing around 150,000 Leones. The taxi will take you directly to the location, which is approximately 90 kilometers away. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
