Car
Start your journey in Port Loko by heading towards the main road that connects to the Freetown highway. From the center of Port Loko, take the road leading to the east. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for signs to Gibina. Follow the signs pointing towards Gibina, which is about 5 kilometers away from your turn-off. Once you reach Gibina, stay on the main road, and you will find the entrance to Kasewe Forest Reserve on your right. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the roads may not be well maintained.

Public Transportation
From the center of Port Loko, you can take a shared taxi or a 'poda poda' (a minibus) heading towards Gibina. When you board, inform the driver you want to go to Gibina. The fare is usually around 1,500 to 2,000 Leones, depending on the negotiation. The journey will take about 20 to 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Gibina, you may need to walk to the entrance of Kasewe Forest Reserve, which is approximately 1 kilometer from the town center. Follow the main road, and keep an eye out for signs leading to the reserve.

If you are already in Gibina and need to reach Kasewe Forest Reserve, you can walk from the town center. Head south on the main road from the market area and keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You should see signs directing you towards the reserve. It's a scenic walk, so make sure to take in the views along the way.
