You may need to navigate through some smaller roads, which may require a 4x4 vehicle depending on the weather conditions. The waterfall is located near a small hiking area and is accessible by a short walk from the parking area.

    Catch a 'poda poda' (shared minibus) from Port Loko Town heading towards Freetown. Inform the driver you want to stop at Magbema. The fare is usually around 5,000 Leones. Once at Magbema, you will need to hire a bike (approximately 10,000 Leones) or take a shared bike ride to the turn-off for Mambo Waterfalls. From the bike drop-off point, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the waterfalls. Be sure to ask for directions if you're unsure!
